The Ohmies by Laurie Miller & Ben Tollefson
Presented by The Splinter Group and Head Down and Running
through special arrangement with Ohmies Entertainment, INC
The Ohmies is an interactive health and wellness brand for children ages three to five years old. On every adventure, The Ohmies gain skills essential to preschoolers by learning about themselves and the world around them. This practical knowledge, borne of the three core curriculum components (Movement and Physical Activity, Social Development, Emotional Development) help preschoolers develop positive skills for health and well-being. The Movement and Physical Activity curriculum combats the epidemic of childhood obesity directly by turning fitness activities in to play. The child viewers must interact with the characters to complete each adventure. Physical action that is introduced (mainly inspired by yoga poses) encourages the child audience to move, stretch, dance, and breath. And just like most preschoolers, The Ohmies have fears and anxieties about everyday things such as visiting unfamiliar places and changing routines. When The Ohmies are distressed, the Worries appear. But never fear! Everyone will work together to learn how to dance, laugh or sing those Worries away.

Shakespeare's R&J was heralded by London's Daily Telegraph as, "A beautiful, sexy, wildly inventive adaptation….ingenious, urgent and wonderfully atmospheric. This brilliant production lets you see an over-familiar play with fresh eyes." In a repressive boarding school four boys discover a banned copy of Shakespeare's classic play Romeo and Juliet. Forbidden to read it by day, they begin a secret enactment by night that shatters the boundaries of the world they know. The hot-blooded action exposes adolescence at its most painful, exploring passion in this restrictive and repressed environment. Like Shakespeare's Romeo, prompted by confusing emotions and the stirring of sexual feelings, these boys are testing the waters of adulthood, experimenting with the roles and rules of becoming men. Their experience changes these boys profoundly: through their actions, and like
Romeo and Juliet, these boys explode into adulthood.
